Albert Tucker's John and Sunday Reed

AU0819 Lot 28 MG LR xar40d

This Albert Tucker work depicts John and Sunday Reed in front of their home, Heide. Tucker completed the painting soon after their deaths and for him, marked a moment in his own personal history of immense reflection. Tucker based his paintings on photographs that he had taken and are particularly candid and compelling.
