House & Bar Attendants (Casual)

House & Bar Attendants represent MTC to the public and are professional, flexible and multi-skilled. As the first point of contact for Southbank Theatre patrons, House & Bar Attendants are entrusted to deliver exceptional service across all customer-contact areas to create and provide holistic theatre experiences for MTC audiences.

Selection Criteria:

  • Minimum of 1 year customer service experience
  • Enthusiasm and passion for delivering first class customer service
  • Able to function effectively and follow direction in an emergency
  • Able to work flexibly and effectively as a member of a team
  • Resilient under pressure
  • Self-motivated, responsible, and able to demonstrate initiative
  • Good judgment, common sense and calm demeanour
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • A high standard of grooming and presentation
  • Previous experience in a similar role or roles is essential
  • First Aid Certificate is highly desirable but not essential
  • RSA is highly desirable but not essential
  • Immediate start

The position is offered on a casual basis, with hours varying to accommodate seasonal shows and operational requirements. The position encompasses weekday, evening and weekend work and is available for an immediate start.
