Due the recent lockdowns in Victoria, MTC performance schedules have been affected.

Our upcoming productions of Jacky and Sunday have been cancelled due to lockdowns and COVID-19 restrictions preventing them from proceeding. For more information about Jacky read the full announcement, and the Sunday announcement here.

This follows the cancellation of Cyrano performances from 5 August to 8 September.

If you have tickets to any of these affected performances, you will be contacted directly with further instructions, or you can learn more about your ticketing options below.

Our dedicated Box Office team are available to assist with your enquiries. While it is not currently possible to visit our Box Office in person and our phone line is closed due to lockdown, you can still email us at mtcticketing@mtc.com.au and we will respond as soon as possible.

Please be aware that due to the ongoing impact of COVID-19 on performances, we are receiving a very high volume of emails and our ticketing team are working to respond to all requests as quickly as possible but there may be a delay of up to 4 to 6 weeks. We thank you for your patience as we work through each request under remote-working conditions.

2021 has presented many challenges for us all and we thank you for your support, patience and understanding amid the disruptions to our performance schedule. We hope that you remain safe and well and look forward to seeing you at the theatre again soon.

Refunds and Account Credit

If you would like a refund or to convert the value of your tickets to account credit, please contact us at mtcticketing@mtc.com.au

Account credit can be used towards future tickets to MTC productions, to purchase gift vouchers, subscriptions or MTC Digital Theatre video passes.

If requesting a refund please note that it will be processed to the credit card used to make the original booking. If you are the original cardholder and your credit card has since been cancelled, please email us your bank account name, account number and BSB, so we can arrange your refund via direct debit.

Please note that refunds may take up to four weeks to be processed.

Donating your tickets

If you are in a position to do so, you can donate the value of your tickets to MTC. We greatly appreciate the support of our audiences and the generosity shown through ticket donations in response to show cancellations.

If you would like to return your tickets as a donation to MTC, please contact our ticketing team at mtcticketing@mtc.com.au. All donations over $2 are tax deductible.
