Melbourne Theatre Company’s vision for reconciliation is an Australia that champions and celebrates First Nations communities’ representation and self-determination – taking pride in the world’s oldest continuous living culture, and building stronger relationships that are free of racism, and based on trust and respect.

For our Company, this means sharing First Nations-led stories on our stages, created in a culturally safe and inclusive workplace, for a diverse audience. We believe that part of our role as a major performing arts company is to partner with the First Nations community to ensure their stories are told, heard and celebrated.

Please consider making a donation to support the range of activities that Melbourne Theatre Company does in partnership and collaboration with First Nations artists and communities.

Your donation will support this vision through:

  • Collaboration with First Nations-led organisations and artists to champion First Nations voices and stories,
  • Strengthening career pathways for all First Nations artists and theatre practitioners through programs like Deadly Creatives,
  • Commissioning, developing and presenting First Nations stories,
  • Enhancing accessibility, educational programs, and support systems that strengthen self-determination and create opportunities in collaboration with First Nations artists and communities,
  • Accessibly priced community tickets through BlakTix.

You can play an integral role in championing and celebrating cultural diversity and inclusion within the arts. Please donate below or complete and return a donation form.
