The initiative creates career pathways for aspiring directors, providing the invaluable opportunity for participants to work alongside senior theatre directors on our mainstage productions.

Our partnership with Cinema Nova brought the critically acclaimed Melbourne Theatre Company commission Sunday to the big screen. Propelled by an impeccable performance from Nikki Shiels (A Streetcar Named Desire, The Picture of Dorian Gray), MTC DIGITAL THEATRE: SUNDAY is an audacious fantasy inspired by the stories and myths that surround Heide Museum of Modern Art founder - the muse and mentor to a circle of artists including Sidney Nolan, Albert Tucker and Joy Hester.

Our Supporting Partner The Langham recently hosted a select group of Donors for a High Tea in their Alto Room. Celebrating the impact of their generous support, Donors were joined by key members of the Melbourne Theatre Company to enjoy a bespoke High Tea experience with views over Melbourne’s skyline.
