What is queer theatre? How do trans stories reach the mainstage? Melbourne Theatre Company Artistic Associate Jean Tong will lead a discussion on contemporary queer dramaturgy, followed by a series of writing exercises exploring voice, narrative, genre and structure from a queer and trans perspective.

Some interest in theatre and/or writing experience recommended.

This workshop will provide insights into industry and craft for emerging trans and gender diverse theatre makers, as well as a space to connect with other trans and gender diverse writers and makers.
