'There’s a timelessness to the themes, and a liveliness to this production, that should win every heart and make audiences proud of Australian theatre'
'A well cast rollercoaster ride of pathos and black comedy'
More Information
Join us for a joyous evening with the much-loved comedy classic, Così.
Louis Nowra's unique Australian comedy comes back to life in this acclaimed new production by director Sarah Goodes (A Doll's House, Part 2).
Inspired by playwright Louis Nowra's own life, this heartwarming production follows young director, Lewis, as he attempts to direct Mozart's opera, Così fan tutte, at a local psychiatric hospital, with a cast who can't sing, act or speak Italian. What could possibly go wrong?
With its crew of loveable characters brought to life by an outstanding ensemble cast, Così is a joyous evening celebrating the power of music, art and community.
A co-production with Sydney Theatre Company
Così was first performed by Company B at Belvoir Street Theatre, Sydney in 1992.
