How do I redeem my Bring-a-Friend ticket?
Log in to your My MTC account and select two Member Bring-a-Friend or Member Bring-a-Friend Under 30 tickets for any eligible production, then add them to your cart. If you haven’t used your Bring-a-Friend ticket/s yet, the second ticket will automatically update to $0 at checkout.

Can I purchase a Membership as a gift?
Memberships can only be applied to the purchaser’s account. To give a friend the gift of Theatre+, we recommend purchasing a gift voucher for the value of the Membership instead. Click here to learn more about gift vouchers. 

How do I collect my exclusive tote bag?
Member tote bags will be available to collect from the Southbank Theatre Box Office in the new year.

When will Member Events be announced?
Our 2026 Member Events will be announced in the new year. Make sure you're opted-in to our mailing list to receive your exclusive invitations.

• Theatre+ memberships are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
• Theatre+ Memberships are not transferrable and cannot be purchased as gifts
• 10% off ticket discount is available for eligible Melbourne Theatre Company productions only, excluding Previews and Opening Nights.
• 10% off is based on standard ticket prices and concession rates (when available), including Pensioner, Full-time Student, Under 30 and Senior concessions.
• 10% ticket discount does not apply to tickets purchased within a subscription package, or to tickets purchased as Seat Savers, Weekend Rush, Blaktix, or in conjunction with any other discount offer.
• Bring-a-Friend ticket/s are available for the duration of the membership period only & must be redeemed in conjunction with a paid ticket to the same performance, in the same transaction.
• Paid tickets that qualify for Bring-a-Friend ticket/s are available at Membership entry rates only (ie. Member Full and Member Under 30).
• Only 1 x Bring-a-Friend ticket can be redeemed per transaction.
• Bring-a-Friend ticket/s have no monetary value and cannot be redeemed for cash
