HOPE: Death hardly ever is.

Two sisters are reunited by the death of their mother. Norma thinks Hope is an avaricious, solipsistic, careerist. Hope thinks Norma is a doormat who’s wasted her life. It’s going to be a difficult settling of the estate. And that’s before a body washes up on their beach.

<p>Sarah Hamilton is a Melbourne based writer and performer and is co-artistic director of <span class="caps">HUMAN</span> <span class="caps">ANIMAL</span> <span class="caps">EXCHANGE</span>. Sarah’s work includes: <em>A Donkey and a Parrot</em> (Melbourne Fringe 2011, Adelaide Fringe 2012, Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2012), <em>They Saw a Thylacine</em> and <em>The Dust and Us</em>. Thylacine premiered at Melbourne Fringe in 2014, winning Best Performance and Tiki Tour Ready Awards. It was nominated for three Green Room Awards: Best Production, Best Writing and Best Female Performers. After a collaboration with Malthouse Theatre in 2015, the production will go on to tour nationally through Performing Lines this year.</p>
