$5 TICKETS & RELIEF TEACHER SUBSIDIES

Schools experiencing disadvantage can access $5 Tickets and Relief Teacher Subsidies to select live Melbourne Theatre Company productions at Southbank Theatre and Arts Centre Melbourne. 

Eligibility

To be eligible for $5 Tickets and Relief Teacher Subsidies, your school must be ranked 1,000 and below on the Index of Community Socio-Educational Advantage (ICSEA) at myschool.edu.au.

Tickets are limited and subject to availability. Eligible schools can currently access IGNITE tickets to:

Relief Teacher Subsidies

We understand that your other classes don’t stop while you’re on an excursion, so eligible schools can also access a limited number of Relief Teacher Subsidies to reduce the impact on your school. Eligible schools can access a $220 (including GST) Relief Teacher subsidy for each accompanying teacher (one per 15 students), limited to five teachers / up to 75 students. Relief Teacher subsidies are limited and subject to availability.

Travel subsidies

All schools in regional Victoria can access Travel Subsidies to support attending Melbourne Theatre Company productions at Southbank Theatre and Arts Centre Melbourne. Travel subsidies are limited and subject to availability.

Eligibility

Outer Regional & Remote Travel Subsidies

Victorian schools whose location is listed as Outer Regional or Remote at myschool.edu.au can access $550 (including GST) Travel subsidy for each performance that the school is attending.

Inner Regional Travel Subsidies

Victorian schools whose location is listed as Inner Regional at myschool.edu.au, or are located in the City of Greater Geelong LGA, can access $330 (including GST) Travel subsidy for each performance that the school is attending.
