News | 2018 Helpmann Awards

We’re honoured that our production of The Children, co-produced with Sydney Theatre Company, was recognised with three awards at the 2018 Helpmann Awards.

Our Australian premiere production took out Best Actress in a Play (Pamela Rabe), Best Direction of a Play (MTC’s Associate Director Sarah Goodes) and the coveted Best Play Award.

Congratulations to all the winners and nominees of the 2018 Helpmann Awards including Esther Hannaford (Best Actress in a Musical), Gabriela Tylesova (Best Costume Design), Kate Miller-Heidke & Keir Nuttall (Best Original Score), and Nick Schlieper (Best Lighting Design), who will all be working all be with MTC on Twelfth Night later in the year.
