Helpmann Award Nominations 2019

We’re thrilled to have received four nominations across three productions at the 2019 Helpmann Awards.

Congratulations to our creative teams, actors, production crews and staff, all of whom contributed to this incredible achievement.

MTC's Twelfth Night received two nominations for Best Costume Design (Gabriela Tylesova) and Best Original Score (Kate Miller-Heidke & Keir Nuttall).

Melita Jurisic is nominated for Best Female Actor in a Play for her mesmerising performance as Mae West in MTC’s production of Arbus & West, while Zoe Terakes received her nomination for Best Female Actor in a Supporting Role in a Play for her remarkable performance as Catherine in A View from the Bridge.

We would like to also make a special mention of Paul Blackwell's posthumous nomination for Best Male Actor in a Supporting Role in a Play in Belvoir's production of Faith Healer, presented by STCSA. We had the privilege of working with him in MTC's presentation of the same play in 2016 and are very pleased to see his outstanding performance recognised.

Congratulations to all of this year’s Helpmann Award nominees.
