Dramatic Elements

VCE Drama

VCE Drama students can use these interactive flashcards to remember and apply the dramatic elements.

By Nick Tranter

Dramatic elements are essential features of every performance. Actors manipulate dramatic elements to shape and enhance meaning.

The dramatic elements for VCE Drama are climax, conflict, contrast, mood, rhythm, sound, space and tension.

Click the arrows in these interactive flashcards to recall the definitions. Text will appear giving an example of each element in a Melbourne Theatre Company production.
