A glimpse into 'The Book of Everything'

On Monday we welcomed the cast of The Book of Everything, featuring members of the original Belvoir production and some new faces. The show has travelled around Australia and to New York, and now the cast, under the Melbourne Ring Cycle’s director Neil Armfield’s imaginative gaze, has been hard at work recreating the world of Guus Kuijer’s classic book (cleverly adapted by Richard Tulloch) on stage for Melbourne audiences.

While the show doesn’t begin until 27 November, here’s a video and some pictures which provide a hint of what you can expect.

The Book of Everything is playing at Southbank Theatre, The Lawler from 27 November to 22 December 2013 and is suitable for children aged 9 years and older. Tickets start at $30 with discounted family packages available.
