A Doll's House, Part 2 extended due to popular demand

Due to popular demand, Melbourne Theatre Company’s season of A Doll’s House, Part 2 has been extended until Tuesday 18 September, with two new performances added.

Marta Dusseldorp, Deidre Rubenstein, Greg Stone and Zoe Terakes make up the ‘uniformly magnificent’ cast (Time Out) in this exquisite production of A Doll’s House, Part 2, which has transfixed audiences since opening on August 16, with tickets in high demand for the remaining season.

MTC Associate Director and 2018 Helpmann Award-winner Sarah Goodes has received widespread praise for her direction of Lucas Hnath’s brazen sequel-of-sorts; the first production ever to be staged outside of the US following its Tony Award-winning season on Broadway in 2017.

MTC Artistic Brett Sheehy said ‘MTC continues an exceptional year with A Doll’s House, Part 2, and we are delighted that we could introduce this Broadway hit to Australia, enabling our audiences to experience a truly bold new international work first. It’s wonderful to see such a positive response from Melbourne and I’m sure these two additional performances will fill up in no time.’

A Doll’s House, Part 2 plays at Southbank Theatre, The Sumner until Tuesday 18 September.
