Research continues to show that engaging with the arts has enormous benefits for young people - academically and socially. MTC Education's new access program MTC EXPLORE aims to ensure those experiences are for the many, rather than the few. By providing opportunities for young people to connect, both as audience and as participant, this program can create truly transformative experiences. MTC EXPLORE has four components:
ACCESS FOR ALL
Heavily subsidised tickets and travel reimbursements are available for disadvantaged schools and groups working with young people.
ON THE ROAD
In light of the current COVID-19 situation and in the interest of the health and safety of our audiences, artists and the broader community, MTC’s Education Production SLAP. BANG. KISS. has had its regional tour cancelled but will go ahead as a filmed performance for distribution to schools in order to meet VCE study requirements.
