We look back on some of the productions that have taken to the stage at Southbank Theatre during its 10 year history.
The opening of Southbank Theatre in 2009, with the world premiere of Poor Boy starring Guy Pearce, was a landmark moment in MTC’s long history. Since then, over 100 home grown, world-class productions have been lovingly created for our stages.
From Hamlet (2011) starring Pamela Rabe, to the incredible staging of small town Corrigan in Jasper Jones (2016) and the world premiere of Hungry Ghosts (2018) which began it's life as part of our Cybec Electric play reading series, Southbank Theatre has been home to some of the Company’s greatest theatrical triumphs.
