Our annual Betty Amsden Youth Scholarship Course is a life-changing opportunity for young people with limited access to the arts. Throughout the week of intensive drama workshops, students learn and develop drama skills, gain confidence, self-awareness and self-expression whilst building friendships and a lifelong affinity for theatre. See some special moments from the 2018 course, which culminated in a performance at Southbank Theatre for family and friends.
Teaching Artists: Tania Cañas and Azja Kulpińska
Support Artist: Sarah Hosford
Guest Artists: Bec Matthews, Georgina Naidu and Katrina Cornwell
MTC gratefully acknowledges the generous support of the Betty Amsden Foundation for making this course possible, and Melbourne Short Stay Apartments for providing accommodation for regional students.
