Melbourne Theatre Company is delighted to welcome Abercrombie & Kent as a new major partner.
Abercrombie & Kent join MTC as exclusive Opening Night Partner, with the partnership to be officially launched at the opening night of Abigail’s Party in March.
This new three year partnership celebrates both companies passion for excellence, providing inspiring experiences and taking people on journeys that enrich their understanding of the world in which we live.
MTC Executive Director Virginia Lovett said, ‘We are extremely pleased to have Abercrombie & Kent on board as our new Opening Night Partner. Every night MTC transports audiences all over the world, allowing them to hear new stories and encounter different perspectives through the power of theatre. A&K share our passion for the importance of arts, culture and new experiences in broadening horizons – and they make it possible to physically visit the places we take audiences to on stage.’
Abercrombie & Kent Managing Director Sujata Raman said ‘A&K is delighted to be partnering with MTC. We pride ourselves on showing our guests the very best experiences in destinations around the world, and MTC provides world class theatre in our own backyard. Our travellers – inbound and outbound – are amongst the most discerning anywhere, and when we talk to them about the cultural experiences they value most, or how they would like to spend their time in Melbourne, MTC comes up again and again. We’re looking forward to sharing the MTC experience with more of our travellers, and the A&K experience with more MTC supporters.’
