Where is the MTC Theatre?
The MTC Theatre is located at 140 Southbank Blvd, Southbank 3006.
The MTC Theatre is in the heart of the Yarra Arts Precinct, just a few minutes walk from Southgate, Federation Square and the Arts Centre. We’re located on the corner of Southbank Boulevard and Dodds Street, opposite the National Gallery of Victoria and next to the Melbourne Recital Centre and Victorian College of the Arts. Coming down Southbank Boulevard from St Kilda Road the building, with its distinctive white piping, cannot be missed.

IS THERE a Box Office at the MTC Theatre?
The MTC Box Office within the MTC Theatre is now open and is available for bookings, exchanges and all ticketing queries Monday to Saturday between 9am and 5pm.

Where can I park my car?
Very limited street parking is available near the theatre along Sturt St, Grant St and Kings Domain. Fortunately there are many secure car parks nearby. The car parks listed below are within walking distance of the MTC Theatre and the Arts Centre. Rates correct on 19 December 2008.

DISABLED PARKING
There are four disabled parking spaces along Dodds Street, each with a four hour restriction.
How do I get to the theatre BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT?
Rail: The theatres are all within a five minute walk of Flinders Street Station.
Tram: For routes travelling up and down St Kilda Road (numbers 1, 2, 5, 6, 16, 64, 67, 72) you can get off at the Arts Centre stop and walk to all theatres. Route 1 to South Melbourne Beach goes down Southbank Boulevard, right past the MTC Theatre.
Where can I go to eat or drink before or after a show?
The MTC Theatre is home to Script Bar & Bistro – offering pre-show dinners and post show drinks. For more information click here.
The Arts Centre also has a number of places to eat within the Theatres Building including Cafe Vic and Curve Bar located on ground level.
Nearby is also Federation Square and the Southgate Complex – both with plenty of dining options.
