Welcome to MTC’s venues
Melbourne Theatre Company productions are staged across two complexes, located close together in Melbourne’s Arts Precinct in Southbank.
Our home, The MTC Theatre hosts Mainstage productions in the 500-seat Sumner Theatre and a Studio Season of new and developing works in the 150-seat Lawler Studio.
Our long association with Arts Centre Melbourne continues with the Playhouse hosting our large-scale works, while more intimate dramas will go into the Fairfax Studio.
