Playhouse

Specifically designed for drama, the Playhouse has been a major venue for MTC since it opened in 1983. The theatre seats 880 people and is particularly suited to large scale dramatic works. The auditorium is split into two tiers, a raked stalls and a balcony. 

The PLayhouse Will host the Following plays in 2012:

Summer of the Seventeenth Doll: 12 January to 18 February
Australia Day: 21 April to 26 May
His Girl Friday: 11 August to 15 September
