Arts Centre Melbourne

Located at 100 St Kilda Road on the south bank of the Yarra, Arts Centre Melbourne with its tall golden spire is a distinctive landmark. MTC has been a major tenant at Arts Centre Melbourne since it opened with our production of Medea in 1984.

Two or three large scale productions will appear each season in the 880-seat Playhouse, while the Fairfax Studio will remain the home for smaller-scale works.

Arts Centre Melbourne is ideally set up for a night out. Within its complex you can have a pre- or post-show meal or drink at Café Vic, the Curve Bar, the Mez Bar and EQ Cafébar. It is also handy for the restaurants and bars along the Yarra at Southgate. The George Adams Gallery and the St Kilda Road Foyer Gallery have exhibitions throughout the year for you to peruse before and after the show. Underneath the complex there is secure off street car parking (enter via Sturt Street).
