Not Quite Out of the Woods
‘
… Take a cup of Canberra, pour in some pollies, fork in some fables, sprinkle on some songs and you have the delicious dish that is the Wharf Revue's Not Quite Out Of the Woods’ – Sunday Herald Sun
‘A slick show, with rumbustious performances, witty lyrics and … deft impersonations’ – The Age
'
… a thoroughly entertaining serve of priceless satire' – Sunday Telegraph
Oh my! What dangers lurk in the dim and tangly woods! When Little Red Julia sets off for grandma’s Lodge with her policy basket brim full of goodies, everyone warns her of the fearsome blue Abbottar (presented in 1D), but it’s three independent little pigs that ultimately block her path.
Once again the talented team of Jonathan Biggins, Amanda Bishop, Drew Forsythe and Phillip Scott join forces to parody our political leaders and current events in a series of musical skits. The Wharf Revue is an annual Sydney institution, and after Not Quite Out of the Woods casts its spell, it’s certain to become a Melbourne one.
