In a mythical land of ritual, wealth and power, with a sinister underbelly writhing beneath its gleaming surface, Queen Lear reigns supreme; her word alone is the law. Exercising her authority, she challenges her daughters to compete for her kingdom, triggering a series of events that will shatter her power and reason, but ultimately lead to her enlightenment.
