In 2010 we are as committed to providing that early theatre experience as ever. For VCE students we offer, on top of our popular forums and workshops to help students pass their final exams, two major productions. In Term 2, Matt Cameron’s off-beat and unsettling fable Ruby Moon will be presented in a full production in the Lawler Studio. Later, in Term 3, we will revive our Explorations: A Streetcar Named Desire that was so successful last year.

You will notice that 2010 sees a few fresh initiatives. For students from regional schools, the Tattersalls Foundation will be providing travel subsides for excursions to MTC performances and events, and our inaugural intake of MTC Ambassadors will be an opportunity for a select bunch of Year 11 students to meet on a monthly basis and share their passion for theatre. You will also find that there will be pre-show talks and teachers notes available for more of our main season shows.
