Applications for MTC's 2012 Work Experience program are now open

In 2012, MTC will offer a limited number of work experience placements to secondary school students.  One student will be assigned to each 2012 MTC production which is being rehearsed in Melbourne, and he/she will observe MTC rehearsals, supervised by the Stage Management team. They may be also asked to assist with some stage management tasks.

First preference will be given to students in Year 11 in 2012, and only students aged 16 and over will be considered. Due to the large number of applications received, we are not able to accept all students who apply. Please note: MTC does not offer secondary school work experience placements in the costume department.  

Work Experience placements will only be offered in the specific weeks listed below:

    Monday 2 April to Thursday 5 April (excluding Good Friday: Friday 6 April)
    Monday 23 April to Friday 27 April (excluding Anzac Day: Wednesday 25 April)
    Monday 28 May to Friday 1 June
    Monday 18 June to Friday 22 June
    Monday 16 July to Friday 20 July
    Monday 23 July to Friday 27 July
    Monday 6 August to Friday 10 August
    Monday 8 October to Friday 12 October
    Monday 22 October to Friday 26 October
