What a pleasure it was to finally reveal our 2012 Season to the world at the Arts Centre, State Theatre last night. After many months of careful consideration, planning and designing it’s a wonderful feeling to share with you all the 12 plays that will make up our mainstage season.
Our 2012 Programming Team – Robyn Nevin, Pamela Rabe and Aidan Fennessy – aimed to create a season filled with momentsthat will move you, make you laugh and stay with you long after the curtain has fallen. And so it is that our 2012 Season features four new Australian works and one Australian classic, a Tony Award-winner, a reinvented Shakespeare, two World Premieres and three Australian Premieres – and plenty of great moments in the theatre to be sure!
